Sculpture in the City walking tour

Sculpture in the City is an award winning urban sculpture park set amongst some of London’s architectural landmarks, such as the Gherkin and the Lloyd’s building.
The tour around the 17 works on show, will start with Gavin Turk’s Ajar- a painted bronze door in a door frame- which has been installed at St. Botolph’s Church cemetery and garden.
The other artists with works in this year’s exhibition are: Anthony Caro, Benedetto Pietromarchi, Enrico David, Giuseppe Penone, Huma Bhabha, Jürgen Partenheimer, Lizi Sanchez, Mat Collishaw, Michael Lyons, Recycle Group, Sarah Lucas, Ugo Rondinone, William Kentridge & Gerhard Marx and Petroc Sesti.
The tour will take approximately an 1 hour 30 minutes. Please note that while the tour is free we have limited places.
Stella is Co-director of Sculpture in the City, the City of London’s most ambitious arts initiative, which is delivered in partnership with local businesses and the wider arts community.
Her long-standing relationship with the City’s arts community also informed Celebrate the City (2012), the Square Miles’ celebratory programme for the 2012 London Olympics where she was Project Director. Stella is a member of the City Arts Initiative Advisory Board and is a liveryman member of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects.
