Revealed: Who’s judging what at this year’s Archiboo Web Awards

Judges are drawn from media, tech, academia and property – each one bringing their own unique perspective to the table.

The 28-strong judging panel will be responsible for selecting the winners for each category. Once the shortlist is announced they will then review and provide feedback on each finalist. The shortlisted entries will be scored against a variety of criteria, dependent on the category, ensuring that the winner excels in each area.

Best Offline Experience

Carl Turner – Carl is Founding Director of Carl Turner Architects and co-founder of Social Enterprises, Pop Brixton and Peckham Levels.

Kate MacTiernan – Kate is an architect and Creative Director and co-founder of the Shuffle festival, one of east London’s largest annual community arts festivals.

Stella Ioannou – Stella is director of Lacuna, a creative project consultancy, and Co-director of Sculpture in the City, the City of London’s most ambitious arts initiative.

Phineas Harper – Phineas is deputy director of the Architecture Foundation. In 2015 he co-created Turncoats, a design-based debating society which now has chapters in four continents.

Enfys Dickinson – Enfys is an award-winning producer. After cutting her teeth at Disney, Paramount and Warner Bros she set up WonderLust Pictures to produce independent feature films.

Kyle Bergman – Kyle founded the annual Architecture & Design Film Festival, America’s largest film festival devoted to the subject. He is also the festival’s director.

Jacob Loftus – Jacob Loftus is founder and CEO of developer General Projects. Launched in 2016, it creates experiential, innovative and dynamic buildings, designed around the needs of the new economy.

Savvanah de Savray – Savannah is the Founder and CEO of Built-ID: a proptech platform powered by leading property consultants and developers showcasing their projects and collaborations.

Emily Wright – Emily is features and global editor of Estates Gazette specialising in domestic and global real estate investment, the TMT and start-up sectors and future of property design and development.

Jeremy Till – Jeremy is an architect, educator and writer. He is head of Central Saint Martins and Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research at the University of the Arts London.

Kate Goodwin – Kate is Head of Architecture and Drue Heinz Curator at the Royal Academy of Arts.  overseeing a programme which stimulates a debate about architecture and its intersection with the arts.

David Bickle – David is the V&A’s Director of Design, Exhibitions and FuturePlan. His responsibilities include the V&A East project hailed as a new museum “for the digital age”.

Del Hossain – Del is MD of the Adrem Group, the UK’s leading recruitment agency in the field of architecture and design. He trained as an architect and holds a qualification in business psychology.

Zeena Feldman – Zeena is Lecturer in Digital Culture at King’s College London. Her research investigates intersections between communication, technology and everyday life.
