Archiboo was launched as a talk series in 2014. Its founder, Amanda Baillieu, wanted to bring different disciplines together and offer a platform for people to share their knowledge and expertise.

The Architect Pitch was launched in 2015 and the Archiboo Awards were launched in 2016. In 2019 she co-founded the Developer Collective with Gus Zogolovitch.
